Proof of Concept
The core mechanic of this game is that the player loses abilities (body-parts) over the course of the game. To demonstrate this, here's a side-by-side comparison of the player in two vastly different stages in the game, finishing the same level.
On the left, the player is in the initial stages of the game and has all abilities. They use their ability to grab and pull moveable objects to clear the path to the goal platform. On the right, the player is in the final stages of the game and has essentially no abilities. On the bright side, they are able to squeeze through the obstacles and reach the goal platform.
The player model, sound effects and level artwork are placeholder assets, but the level design is an early draft of (a major section in) the tutorial level.
